  • 1 1/4 cups dark brown sugar
  • 3/4 cup white granulated sugar
  • 1 cup pumpkin puree
  • 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
  • 2 eggs
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1 tablespoon pumpkin spice seasoning
  • 12 ounces marshmallow fluff
  • 1/2 cup semi-sweet or milk chocolate melting chips

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F. Line an 8×8 baking dish with parchment paper.
  2. Brown the butter in a saucepan until golden and nutty.
  3. Whisk in dark brown sugar, white sugar, and pumpkin puree until smooth.
  4. Add vanilla extract and eggs; whisk until incorporated.
  5. Stir in flour, baking powder, salt, and pumpkin spice seasoning until batter is smooth.
  6. Spread half of the batter in the baking dish.
  7. Spread marshmallow fluff evenly on top.
  8. Cover with remaining batter.
  9. Bake for 55 minutes, until a toothpick inserted comes out with moist crumbs.
