A warm, lemony pink salt drink made with Himalayan pink salt, fresh lemon juice, and optional unflavored gelatin for a silky, gently filling finish.

For the warm drink
- 1 cup warm water, about 100-110°F
- 1/4 teaspoon Himalayan pink salt
- 1 tablespoon fresh lemon juice, about 1/2 medium lemon
- 1 teaspoon raw honey or stevia, optional
- 1 tablespoon unflavored gelatin powder, optional
- 2 tablespoons cold water, for blooming gelatin
Instructions
- Pour 2 tablespoons cold water into a small bowl
- Sprinkle the gelatin evenly over the surface and let it sit for 3-5 minutes, until thick and spongy
- Heat 1 cup of water to about 100-110°F
- Pour the warm water over the bloomed gelatin
- Stir for 30-60 seconds, until clear and smooth with no visible granules
- Stir in the fresh lemon juice and Himalayan pink salt
- Keep stirring until the salt fully dissolves
- Add honey or stevia if you want a softer flavor
- Serve warm 15-30 minutes before your first meal
- For chilled cubes, pour the mixture into a shallow dish or silicone mold and refrigerate for 2-3 hours, until set
Notes
Best enjoyed fresh when served warm. For chilled gelatin cubes, store in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days. Do not freeze. Use a small amount of pink salt, and check with a doctor first if you have high blood pressure, kidney disease, heart disease, liver disease, or sodium restrictions.
