Instructions

  1. Crush the Cake Base: Start by baking your chocolate cake if not already done. Once cooled, crumble it into small, bite-sized pieces and layer it into the bottom of your trifle dish or serving bowl.
  2. Make the Cream Cheese Layer: In a mixing bowl, beat the softened cream cheese with powdered sugar and vanilla extract until smooth and creamy.
  3. Fold in the Whip: Gently fold the whipped topping into the cream cheese mixture to lighten it.
