- 200 g ladyfingers (savoiardi)
- 1/2 cup brewed espresso, cooled
- 250 g mascarpone cheese
- 1/2 cup powdered sugar
- 1 tablespoon cocoa powder (plus extra for dusting)
- 1 tablespoon coffee liqueur (optional)
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- Pinch of salt
Instructions
- Crush the ladyfingers into fine crumbs.
- Mix mascarpone, powdered sugar, vanilla, and salt until smooth.
- Add espresso and coffee liqueur if using.
- Fold in the ladyfinger crumbs.
- Roll into small balls.
- Dust with cocoa powder.
- Chill for 30 minutes before serving.
